Since January my girlfriend hasn't had a period. Her belly is growing as are her breasts. She used to get sick in the mornings but that stopped. We did 7 pregnancy tests and they all read positive. But anyway my question is this - don't you get fed up with all these questions about "I think I might be pregnant"? Should these people be thrown onto an island someplace with no internet access and a giant maternity hospital?
Will this 'question' stop them posting stupid stuff? I doubt it somehow....

I agree!!! People are dumb. I think I might be prego's well then go to the store and get a test or go to the doctors. You can't pee or get blood drawn from asking stupid questions. They would find out sooner if they would've thought of spending a few buckaroo's on a test first instead of coming on here and getting dumb comments

Well, congratulations on your upcoming parenthood. I will play devil's advocate and defend the stupid questioners by saying that as a person who spent 30,000 dollars on fertility treatments and had 5 miscarriages (and 2 healthy kids), I think people feel alone and desperate when they are trying to get pregnant. Sometimes, it seems so hopeless to never get pregnant and you just want some reassurance. So, hopefully the stupid questioners are not all stupid, just desperate.

While I agree the questions are annoying, many of these people are desperately wanting a babe. I am sure that like me they thought they would just make love and make a baby. Unfortunately for some of us it just isn't that easy. It can be frustrating and so draining (both mentally and financially).
I, too, find myself obsessing in the two week wait.

I would think so; and if she hasn't gone to the doctor yet, you should know that she missed out on some important tests. The both of you should want the absolute best for your baby and you should not be delaying proper care!

Hmm... let them post whatever they want. Who cares? They're just scared probably. I mean, the first thing I'd do if I thought I was pregnant would be to tell my boyfriend and take a test... but some people are different. Let them do what they want.

Posing a question like this isn't going to stop others from posting the same sort of thing. Questions like this are as annoying as answers like "thanks for the two points".
