If you continue to do it often, after you've become an adult, I think you have a bit of an issue.
There are plenty good reasons NOT to masturbate. Self control, patience, makes sex more enjoyable etc.
I only see masturbation as a tool for the weak.
I can think of a hundred things I'd rather be out doing than masturbating and none involve sexual acts.
