Camus' "The Stranger", since there's a part in it that says a man could think about one day that he lived for the rest of his life... Kind of suitable for the situation ;)

I was going to say my Bible. If I could bring my Bible AND one other book, the other book would either be a dictionary or the Merck Manual of Medical Information.

A blank one, so I can write my own, and I'll make sure it's big since i will have some time on my hands. I would not bring the bible, unless I needed something to burn.

The BIBLE of course! You can read the holy book over and over again and everytime you read any same verse, you will have a new insight and meaning and GOD is always there to guide you!
Just read it everyday for only an hour or two, and you will realise what I mean...May GOD bless you!

I would not bring the bible. I would most likely bring "The Stand," by Stephen King.
