The only reasons the US is still a super power is we have the money and technology infrastructures to achieve it. We also have leaders that are arrogant enough to think it is our right and responsibility to protect everyone else. If we focused on just ourselves I think many diseases would have be eradicated by now such as HIV/AIDS. If their wasn't kickback money involved in playing "policeman for the world" you can bet we wouldn't be invaiding Grenada to get some people who were too stupid to make it into an American medical school off of the island. Afghanistan was justified due to the involvement of the Taliban and Al-Kaida in that country with the attacks of September 11, 2001. Iraq was/is a total farce. It is a Bush family vendetta. Saddam out lasted George HW Bush and "W" couldn't stand it and used the weapons of mass desstruction as probable cause to invaide. Atleast he scared the $hit out of Khadaffi in Lybia. Next on the hit list is Iran. North Korea is a secondary tartet as they don't have much in the way of oil. Oh yeah, both Bush and Chenney made their forturnes in the oil business maybe they could sell oil to North Korea
