Besides the fact that the sunrising gets brighter and the sunset doesn't and sometimes the sunset is a different color but other then that it's just about the same...

People are usually asleep during sunrise, but typically go to sleep long after sunset.

Because they're all usually fast asleep during sunrise... Personally I prefer sunrise to sunsets...

Well, some people do prefer to watch the sunrise, it's not the same set that like watching it set. It's all owls and eagles.
I prefer to watch it set, only because I'm awake at that time - I'm usually sleeping during the rise, and if I'm awake it isn't because I chose to be.

Damned if I know. The ones here, in Arizona, are every bit as spectacular as the Sunsets.
Maybe most people just don't like to get up that early

Plus you have to get up early for the sunrise.
But it is worth watching, especially when there are clouds in the area.
