It is not possible to use WMP to sync your iPod; You have to use iTunes. Also if you have any files that are ripped using WMA, your iPod won't play them. Another thing to consider when thinking of purchasing an iPod is the fact that when it comes time to purchase a new computer, you won't be able to transfer your iTunes library to your new PC; You'll have to repurchase all of your songs.

-unless you use a hack program, at which time you will be breaking the law.

Locate the file from Windows Media Player (Meaning right-click on the song to open the containing folder of where the song is filed) then drag it over into your Itunes window.

Using WMP is pointless since you have to download iTunes in order to actually the transfer the music anyway. Just get iTunes, have it search your hard drive for all of your mp3s and then pick and choose what you want to put on it.

I had to download the itunes software. The WMP isn't compatible... at least not my version. Just go to itunes.com the software is free.
