Yeah know I never ask that when I worked there.
I think they all really do have cameras.
But if you are planning something, you should worry more about the security crew. Your store may have secruity guards in uniforms, but they also have a team of people (both men and women) who walk around watching for shop lifters. You won't know who they are, they look just like all the other shoppers, they even push around carts and shop. You won't know where they are, because there are more than one of them and they split up all over the stuff.
Hey The Wiznit. You are right they won't let you off if you are hurt. They stick you on a door as a door greeter, or put in the dressing room as the phone operator. Or give you some other equally boring "light duty" job. The same team as above watch the cameras. Like I said there are more than one of them.

They probably are by why risk it? Wal-mart prosecutes and they send you a bill for like 200 dollars no matter what the item you stole. So it is totally not worth stealing...plus you may end up with a criminal record

yes, well look at it this way. There is a camera every five feet in Wal-mart. but if you go in the back there is only 2 monitors. so if you thinking o shoplifting don't worry about cameras, but do worry about the undercover snitches.

There real.... but the person that watches the monitors is probably asleep because Wal-Mart will not let people that been injured have time off and they are all doped up.

The only way to find out is to steal something in view of each camera one at a time. If you walk out and aren't arrested, that camera is fake. Have fun.

Yes they all have cameras in them that can scan 360 degrees. The person in the security room can operate them on all levels.

Even if only half of them actually had a working camera, are you stupid enough to try to shoplift?

lol, that would be really funny! ive always wondered that! i was thinking you could do something crude or hide something under your shirt and walk a bit aways and put it back.... and see what happens... like a test to see if they really have a cam.. and if they do, do they really watch?
