Hey I just had another draft yesterday for those of you who remember my other question. And I'd like to know if anyone has any advice on how to make this team better.

Starters

QB: Jake Delhomme

RB: Tiki Barber

RB: Lamont Jordan

WR: Anquan Boldin

WR: Larry Fitzgerald

TE: Jeremy Shockey

K: Matt Stover

DST: Colts

Bench

QB: Steve McNair

RB: Frank Gore

WR: Reggie Brown

WR: Terry Glenn

TE: Alex Smith

DST: Chargers

Tell me what you think.

Thanks.

This is a 12-team league. And Air McNair, Gore, Reggie Brown and Glenn are good bench players. I'll no doubt use them for bye weeks.

I did draft between 4 and 6. But I actually drafted 6th. And no I didn't imagine this draft, it's still a miracle I got these guys though. Getting Boldin was easy though, Darrell Jackson was even picked before Boldin.

I'll waive the backup TE for a RB or WR, and then I might waive my backup D for whichever position I didn't get earlier.

Thanks for the advice everyone, I will still accept more advice though. Any and all help is appreciated :)

Dont listen to what sum of these ppl say. In a 12-man league i cant believe the number of early steals u got in ur team. U got reliable Barber at #4 i presume and u was able to get Jordan on the way back(thats a 60 reception back u got along with 1000 yds) U were also able to get Fitzgerald and boldin in 3 and 4. Dont worry about them being on the same team, I told my cousin last year that was a bad idea only to have fitz and boldin each get 100 receptions playin together. U have a good QB situation and u have the second best TE in da league. The only concern i have is the depth u have in ur most important positions. U dont really need a back-up TE because u can easily get 1 off ur waivers on a bye week and jus waive him after. You need at least 1 more rb because they are ur most important position and u might consider dropping ur back-up d for anotha wr because defenses usally do good every week.

I think Gore will be a good 3rd RB. A lot of people are overrating Reggie Brown because he is the #1 WR in Philly. I'm not saying he won't be good but just because he's first on the depth chart doesn't mean he's going to go 1,000/10. Could he? Sure, but I'm not banking on it.

Alex Smith....you don't need to keep him on your roster if you have Shockey. Shockey is your starter every week, no matter what the matchup is. Pick up another backup RB or WR but don't waste your roster spot on a backup TE. Use this roster spot to rotate players on bye weeks.

The only problem I see is having Larry Fitz and Boldin as your starting WRs. They're good WRs but you're putting a lot of hope into the Cardinals offense. If they get shut down, then you get shut down. If they dominate, it could be all Larry Fitz and nothing from Boldin, or vice versa.

Try trading Boldin and someone from your bench for another WR of similar value.

Your RBs are fine. This year's draft is not as rich with RB depth as it was in previous years.

Hey Joe,

Great team. I think you need a little more depth at QB, Mcnair is going to go down with an injury during the season. You could also use some depth at RB and TE, I don't think Smith is going to flourish under a second year quarterback. I would also try to pick up a better back- up defense than the Chargers on the waiver wire. By the way, do you go to Gorham High School?

ok Mikep426 y do u have to do that with every ***** draft on this website. u always say they're fake. maybe u just suck at fantasy football and ur jealous of everyone that has a good team.

now back to the question.

ur startin QB is lookin a little rough. He may not be starter material. Look to the Free Agent area because idiots often don't draft decent QBs like Trent Green or Kurt Warner. But if not it's not a huge problem Delhomme is decent

Ur RB position is very strong don't need to make any changes.

At WR i'd say u should try to trade one of those great starters for another one. It's a little to risky to have them on the same team. UR backups r very good though.

At TE u have Shockey...'nuff said

Ur K and DST r good.

u have a very good team u probably will win ur league

I was going to guess this was a 6-team league. You get 2 top-10 backs and 2 top-8 wides.

You will win for 2 reasons:

1.) I think you imagined this draft really happened.
2.) if it did really happen, there's a bunch of retards in your league.

I have to assume since you got Barber #1, you must have drafted between #4 and #6, so I'll just say you picked #5 overall.

#5 - Barber
#20 - Jordan - no way he falls to #20
#29 - Fitzgerald - no way he falls to #29
#44 - Boldin - no way he falls to #44

do you see the recurring theme here of "no way this can happen?"

I think its good although how many teams are in your league and youve got no bench players gleen is the only one who might be valuable but id give it a b+

I'd get better rb's than Jordan and Gore but otherwise team looks good.
