"Here Rat, have some cheese!" a famous line from a movie who's name I can't remember at the moment; Does he have "rat friends" or is he a bachelor? Or bachlelorette for that matter...The usual ways, trap , sticky tape... or, if you live near a farm, maybe they'll have a "mouser"...usually a barn cat who learned how to hunt(not all cats are mousers-they have to be taught by their mothers). Hopefully not an exterminator, but they do like to make little mice families! Maybe he just likes your company! Good Luck!

do it the fun way. Find the time of day when it likes to come out of its home and bait it with some nice cheese and crackers. while its eating cover up the hole were its home is in and use a butterfly net and put it in a container( with air!).
Another fun way is to put something poisonous on the cheese. But not too much poison! If it's too much then the mouse will smell it and run away. So use just the right amount of poion on the cheese.
The last fun way to kill a mouse is to get it to walk on a trap. LIKe you see in the movies, like if you have a small hole somewhere in the floor of your house, put VERY LIGHT paper over it. And lure the mouse across it. Make sure the mouse cannot see you or he will run! And for this Trap use crackers with a little cheese scattered over it(this makes it harder to resist).
Well I hope I helped.

How are you sure it's the same mouse? And you almost never have just one. I'd set out as many glue boards that I could get hold of. And if you can safely use a poison like D-con use it. They eat and die. You just have to be careful where you place it that children and household pets don't get into it. I have cats and I am afraid to use a poison least they'd eat a mouse that has eaten the poison so when I get mice, I use the traps.

Keep D-Con in several different places your home at all times and then if a mouse comes in he will eat , get thirsty and go outside to find water and die. Be sure children and pets can't get to it. I have used D-Con this way for a number of years and I have not seen any sign of a mouse for over 20 years.

Try using both D-Con in various places, and also traps. Remember that mice will have pathways that they run regularly; put the traps perpendicular to their path. Bait the trap (the pad) with peanut butter. It's not something they can grab very easily off the trap, and it's good for a few days. I had great success in ridding an old attic of about 7 mice.

Hire an exterminator. They get paid to do that. Unless you are a cat and planning to eat it after you catch it, you should leave that job to a professional. Exterminators are experienced, trained, and well equipped to get your mouse (and all of its family that you haven't spotted yet - usually 50 unseen for each seen one)
