Ok. A terrorist group called Hezbollah was given shelter in Lebanon. Probably because of being so violent the government was afraid to oppose them. This same terrorist group has threatened to remove Israel from the face of the earth. Under the tutelage of the Iranian prime minister, a public statement was made promising annhilation of the Jewish state, after which Hezbollah immediately kidnapped two Israeli soldiers to start it off. Not to mention other transgressions continuing. Being that Iran has nuclear weapons and the intent, Israel apparently decided not to wait for the next holocaust, and became defensive instead. Unfortunately for Lebanon and it's citizens, which is a Democratic country........... they are taking the brunt for both Iranian PM and Hezbollah.

Israel invades Lebanon in 1982, destroys lebanon kills 20 000 people. ( sounds familiar?) of this a resistance is born they call themselves Hizbollah. They drive the israeli out in 2002 ( suicide attacks and not very catholic ways, but I guess they do what they need to do given Israel is so much stronger), Israel pulls out in 2002 except they keep a small part of lebanon called the shebaa farm and a few prisoners.
4 weeks ago Hizbollah decides to kidnap 2 israeli soldiers and demands exchange for theirs, and Israel who cannot forget the bitter defeat in 2002, and pappa Olmert who needs to prove to his people that he is a Macho man ends up killing 1245 civilians, mostly kids + decimating a country: and nothing has happened yet.
