Is it the one that goes: "The moment i wake up..i try to put on my makeup..i say a little prayer for you?"...the same song that was in some Julia Roberts movie..I think it was My best friend's wedding....If YES you should check out the soundtrack on amazon.com and it'll tell you the artist who sang that song.
If NO, and i am totally off with what you mean---my bad!;)!

If it's the one that goes (haven't seen the movie)

The moment I wake up, before I put on my make up
I say a little prayer for you
While combing my hair now
And wonderin' what dress to wear now
I say a little prayer for you

It's "I say a little prayer" and it's been sung by Dionne Warwick and Aretha Franklin

Maybe this page will help you. There's a question concerning the music during the credits.
