What is something that your significant other has said that is WAY funny, but also hurts?
Mine: After my oldest was born I lost a lot of weight (after gaining even more due to toxemia) and I put on my little bikini panties thinking 'You Go Girl!' I pranced past my hubby like I was hot poo and he says:
'Hey honey you want some flowers for that vase'
OMG I hadn't lost as much weight as I thought, my undies were still too small and the crack of my @ss was riding high.
It was hilarious but it hurt.

ok let me add to those that don't know my sense of humor - I have a really perverse one so the comment he made cracked me up!! I thought it was completely funny - but I realized it was also TRUE and I wasn't as hot as I thought I was at the moment, which for my inflated ego stung! I was not in any way mad at him - he is more perverse in humor then me (yeah go figure right!)

This was in the past, but I still remember the emotion of it.....losing the attention of a man I really wanted it from...he knew it and laughed anyway...sad tears

Why can't people understand a simple question? Well I went out an spent a small fortune to have my hair highlighted and colored,a double process,because when my husband met me I was a blond,so I thought it would be a nice change,When I walked in the door he said''He said,Wow,You Look Hot Like When I First Met You,Now I Want To Have Hot Sex,well I felt like crap because my hair has been chesnut for 23 years and he never said a damn thing about liking me better blonde!It hurt my feelings,and it was funny because he looked so sweet and excited and I was out of the mood!

lol that was funny...but yeah that would hurt if your hubby said that to you...definately...i would be hurt but I would also be laughing all at the same time. and the crack in your @ss riding high...that was the part that cracked me up....but then i kinda thought about it...thats not really cool cuz I mean some other people have the same problem and go about on it and let it all hang out...you probably don't. lol...But you do have a sense of humor...i would probably do the same tihng as you...like say "you go girl". You are one funny person.
My story...well its one of the embarassing moments storys...
I went to the pool one time with my mom, my friends laura, katie, and kayleigh...and kayleighs mom and i was wearing this pink swim suit...little did I know...till my mom mentioned it...My swin suti was see through...you could see through it...when she mentioned this...I was like "are you serious? everyone can see me right through this!" And I looked at myself and I was like "no you can't!" What happens? I have guys scoping me out...ok not cool....but I had to go and take a look for myself after we left the pool some time later...when we left i had wrapped a towel around me...cuz we like walked there to the pool. I got home and went to the bath room....looked and i said to myself "OMG! you really can see through it!" But when I was at the pool the whole time...i blew it off...that it was see through...if i walked home in just my bathing suit...it would have been walking around in your birthday suit (naked!) I mean come one...so since then, i had worn something not see through....if anything its a bikini...still not see through. i got rid of that swimsuit and gave it to my friend Katie...and she wore it and only me and laura said something along with her mom...we all laughed...she got mad...then the blew it off....she did wear it a second time...but with a long shirt over the swim suit. lol...its funny tho. i never mentioned it was see thorugh till katie wore it too the pool. Till then she doesn't wear light colored swim suits...if anything a bikini.

I understand what you're saying I have one sort of similar this 4th of July I wanted to look cute for my boyfriend so I put on a nice shirt and a skirt (I hate showing my legs so I never wear skirts or shorts) so I waited for him to come to get me well he does and when I come to the door he goes "Baby don't you think that skirts to little" I mean damn could I even get a compliment that whole day I was waiting to hear something about how nice my legs look and he says its to small he tried to make up for it but I was already upset thinking about it now it was a little small.....

My husband always tells me how "hot" I look, no matter what I wear.
One night I was getting dressed to go out to dinner one night and I asked him how I looked. He usually just says "great" or something along those lines. This time he said "Your *** looks HUGE!!! I LOVE IT".. He meant, good big.. I took it as HUGE fat nasty obese fat woman ***. It was funny because he had no idea that he said something so wrong, but it hurt and I never wore those pants again.

I would ask cheesy questions, really sappy ones, like "What's the weather like today? HOT because you are here!" and such.
One day, I busted out with "How did a guy like me ever wind up with a woman as cool and sexy as you?" and right off the bat, my wife answers "It was a program called adopt-a-dork!"
Firggin hillarious!!!!!! Kinda true, but oh well. Still hillarious!!!

well what hurt me phiscally (however you want to spell it) is when my cousin threw a dog leash at me and it hit my head and left a bump there for life
what hurt me phiscally and mentally was when no one would play with me. it left me depressed for 2 days
i have no humarus hurt besides running into a pole and being laughed at by my principal

What really hurt me? The ground was pretty hard when I fell off of that barstool last night. And rude bastards kept stepping on my fingers all night!

oh my god that is sooo not funny......i know how you felt ..the worst with me was my ex who was younger..he said that he didn't want to be with me BC i was going to age faster.......only two yrs younger by the way...i dumped his *** ,,,,now he is begging..you should do the same and throw him the kids too....hell learn how to think b4 he speaks.and life will be back t normal.....don't tolerate such behavior
