In my opinion today's youth are slobs and they some how got it into their heads that it's kool. They look like bums on the street and wonder why society never takes them seriously. I say get a clue!

With the technology of today, our youth are now more aware of how the world works. Constant media bombardments have enabled them to have instant information on any and every topic under the sun. As they enter adulthood, they'll have a head start on many issues we had to figure out at a much later age.
However, in many instances, standards have been removed from their society. It doesn't mean as much to "earn" something, because such an effort has been made not to make those who underachieve feel bad. This has created a complacency and lack of ambition for many talented kids. They receive little to no praise for their achievements.

Today's youth are still making bad decisions about drugs and multiple sex partners, but they do a much better job then my generation at accepting responsiblity for their actions.

excuse me. to all adults out there who keep sayin teens are all bad, all addicted to technology in a bad way, dress bad, why dont u ever mention the teens that are good? there are teens that dont do drugs or smoke, that are fit, that do dress appropriately.evryone is unique and entitled to be who they are. evry generation has their bad people. how about today's parents that dont respect their teenage children? how about the parents who have children and just leave them in childcare? how about the parents that do drugs and alcohol and smoke in front of their kids? why dont u just give us teens a break. yes, we have a bad rep, unwanted pregnancies due to unprotected sex etc, the parents should take a stand n do sumthin about it. a kid is who they are due to : wat they r taught by their parents and skool and society and how they were raised and their culture, religion, environment. remember there are a majority of good teens out there who know better, but society thinks all teens are bad and therefore we are dubbed the bad generation. blame wats on the media. stop stereotyping us.
