You always want to get one up on your competition, so I would say to forget the strictly casual attire. Try something in the line of an office suit, snazzed up a bit. Maybe a silk organza blouse underneath? You have got to be professional, and yet relaxed because of the venue.

I would go with an informal look. The location is daytime and outside, so be comfortable for the weather. Some sort of good taste should be used here. A sundress type look for her, and dockers and a solid color button up shirt for him. I wouldn't go for full suit. Throw a jacket over the look if you aren't sure, but skip the tie. Don't look like you are trying to hard to impress. Be comfortable, you don't want to start sweating in the heat.
Good Luck!

I'd find a nice white sundress with maybe a thin black belt.
