The Jordanian monarchy is fairly moderate, especially when compared to their neighbors. The Saudis are another story. I can't think of a reason to support them, other than oil.

because those govt are pro usa, even though the public in that region doesnt support their govt at all... no1 is allow to speak agaisnt their govt and if they do they can be send to jail for life.. or face other harash panelty. Saudi and Jordan govt and many other Arab govt are dictarotos where the public and no saying and only these monarch control and rule the entire nation, and they know in order for them to stay in power they have to be PRO USA because we are the world power, other wise they cant stay on their seats.

Because, although both are far from free societies, it is in the economic and political interests of the US to support these governments. We only champion Democracy when it is expedient to our needs.
