i m 16, and i m takin some intensive coaching. some guys in my class sleep for just 4-5 hrs, and i find that i need atleast 7-8hrs.
wat bout ya?
i just wann akno if its normal, or i might be lethargic or something.

7-8 hours is normal for your age group.. Those that are getting by on 4-5 hours are not doing themselves any good. They are probably too tired to give things their full attention at times and I would bet that at least once a week, they will sleep 10-12 hours to make up for it.

As you get older, you need less sleep. I am 50 and I sleep about 6 hours a night.

No, if you are 16 you need an average of 8 hours a night!!!! I sleep about 7, but I am 21

I sleep total of 10 hours or 8 continues hours
and if am awake for more than 36 horse i go to do 24

The accepted adult average is 8hours, although some people manage on as little as 3.
It is recommended that teenagers try to achieve 10hours of sleep though, to promote good physical and mental development.
People need less sleep as they get older, and most geriatrics will suffer from insomnia.

I am 16 too and I sleep for 6-6.5 hours and that is very good, the best time to sleep is one hour after dinner. This gives lot of lime to digest food.
