I don't know the year of the postage stamp or even who the Thalmann person being depicted is. I believe the stamp was made in the 1960's or 70's. ANY help in finding this stamp will be appreciated.

I need more information about the stamp to tell you, as East Germany issued several stamps honoring Ernst Thalmann, a political leader who died in Buchenwald in 1944, his execution having been ordered by Hitler. What color(s) is it? What is the denomination (number) on it? Does it say "DDR" someplace on the stamp? Are there two numbers with a "+" between?

None of the stamps issued to honor Thalmann are worth more than a few cents, as far as I know. But the additional information I asked for above will make a more complete answer possible.
