My cellphone can do both text and email. It is great.
I probably use text messaging/cell phone email more than I do regular email.

Depend on requirement and also we can cost wise. so it's all about you basics.
sometime you have to have send email because you can't send Ur CV by text. and with friend you just send text.
so it's all about upon you think and then do whatever necessary.
