when the The American Marxist Party has been traditionally weak on defense and strong on excuses for Marxist leaning tyrants like Castro and their puppets like Cindy Sheehan....the Democrats have failed our country when it comes to defense and freedom. The only thing the Dens have done is create failed social programs like welfare and social security and I can guarantee you they will use this forum to blame the republicans for their dismal failures

I wish that democrats actually knew what fascism is:

"stands for a centralized autocratic government, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition"

Does that not sound like the Democrat platform and practice?

Duh! One reason might be that on many levels that Republicans put us there.
You are about 30 years behind in your Marxist accusations. This isn't 1970, Yes, our country still has sanctions against little Cuba, but the Reps have opened trade with huge Communist China, and are into them for billions, that is borrowed to pay Halliburton, Kellogg, Root and Brown, the oil companies, arms and munitions manufacturers , which in turn helps finance the wars and global conflict , and lines their pockets. The surplus of trillions that Clinton left is gone.

It would be a round robin except for one thing, America is going to pay for generations to come and the multi-millionaires like Bush and Cheney and the conglomerates will use much of it to smear the Democratic President who will inherit this disaster the Republicans have created for the working middle class Americans.

Then when any Democratic administration struggles to get us on our feet again. You'll create every dissension and diversion (religion for one) to bring them down.

The Republicans permitted the largest attack in the history of the USA. They have failed totally. They were even warned of it by Israeli Intelligence, French Intelligence, and personnel with the FBI...and still they let it happen. Bush was on vacation. The Republicans inherited a record surplus, and turned it into a record debt, with their wild spending. Their lying got us into war and cost the lives of 200,000 Iraqis. This Republican is the worst president ever. Bush's oil buddies are happy, though. Bush has disgraced the reputation of the USA around the world.

Bush is inept, he confused Bin laden with Saddam, Bush ran down FEMA so Americans suffered when big government was needed. Kennedy the democrat show the extremely strong ability of democrats to build up the military forces, Bush showed the inability to use these forces outside of his particular ideology. Iran has been pushing to the Mediterranean basin for 3000 years Iraq being the first Arab country they will encounter was the traditional bulwark against Iran. Bush has destroyed bulwark and most probably installed a pro Iranian government by default.
If he could learn to read , perhaps he could read the Gallic war and the Seven Pillars of Wisdom and learn how he should have dome it.
Enjoying Bush's oil price rises? if you destroy the capacity of the country with the second biggest oil supplies in the world you reduce supply and increase prices.

WASHINGTON - While the British terror suspects were hatching their plot, the Bush administration was quietly seeking permission to divert $6 million that was supposed to be spent this year developing new homeland explosives detection technology. Congressional leaders rejected the idea, the latest in a series of steps by the Homeland Security Department that has left lawmakers and some of the department's own experts questioning the commitment to create better anti-terror technologies......there is one reason to vote for a democrat

The very fact that the threats are growing after five years of the War on Terror argues that the GOP is incapable of addressing the situation properly, and it is past time for a change in leadership.

Bet I won't get 10 points for that answer.

Republicans cut funding for homeland security? As well as veterans benefits....so I mean as far as self defense goes I think Dem's would be looking at trying to fix problems with the world instead of making them worse. I agree that the welfare system is severly flawed..and so is social security...But I think both parties contribute to the problem instead of helping it. Dem's are all talk and no action...and Republicans are all action and no talk...so its messed up either way..I wish we all could just find some common ground and work together.

Watch out for the fascist answers that will be flowing forward from this. That's always the answer when you ask a Democrat why they're weak on defense and are in the process of kicking out their hawks like Lieberman.

Below:
The Nazis did hate the Marxists, but Stalin (and his gulags) loved them. Communism has failed every time its been tried.

Is Zel Miller coming out of retirement?Does Joe Lieberman still count as a Democrat? Can't think of any others.

Translate your rant into German and it could be used during the Nazi years in Germany.

Nazis hated those damned "liberals" (Marxists) too.

Yeah, China is really suffering, isn't she? I wonder why the US is borrowing money from that failed communist nation? Stalinism is not communism.

But, that has nothing to do with the fact Republicans are fascists and no different than German Nazis.

Fascism is corporatism; the GOP acts as an agent for global corporations.
