there is no almighty, there is no paradise, it's all a lie so you don't have to face death and nearly every single believer believes in their hearts they are going to paradise. hell is for other people.

Truth is we will basically judge ourselves. This little brain of ours is a marvelous recording device, just think back and you can still remember your early memories (3years old and forward) When our time comes to be judged we will know exactly what our place should be, any unclean or immoral thing can not dwell with God and we would feel guilty if we wanted too. Kind of like wearing dirty boots onto a spotless white carpet. So I know we will never achieve perfection but I know that if we do our best and seek to love our fellow men then Jesus will make up the difference for us. Just as we seek out people in this life that are like us it will be no different in the hereafter, you would not want to dwell with others in the eternities that were dramatically different from you. To know God is to become like him ie: his character and attributes ( patience , love, mercy, forgiveness, long suffering, justiice , enduring, unwavering etc etc.) And I would say to all the nay sayers "Which one of these things do you really have a problem with?" What is wrong with showing or doing good? Is the world a better place from people aspiring higher in their goals and thoughts or slugging it out on the battlefields of hate and destructrion? Think about it.

As hard as i try to follow the tenets of my belief. I never really get the feeling that I'm First Round Entry material.

I still see a stretch in purgatory for awhile to bring myself up to standards.

isn't the concept of judgement day and all that a bit too naive for grown up people to believe in?

why yes
"i believed in the One You hav sent".
(all who believe in Yeshua - Jesus - shall be saved)
salvation DOES NOT depend on my deed: "so that no man shall have pride in his deeds... fro BY GRACE you were saved"

why not
if I stop believing and following then not
