Not at all

2006-08-12 01:45:43 · answer #1 · answered by happylittletoes 6 · 2 1

Not really. Osama bin Laden has served his own purpose. Now his evil has been transmitted to many others. If the United States were to capture or kill him, the jihad would carry on.

The US must realize that their policy of not negotiating with these warring parties is really saying"We won't talk with you unless you behave as we want you to." This is absurd. In war, opponents don't act in accordance with each other. We are at war.

It's time for the US and Britain to enter into dialogue with Al Qaeda, Taliban, and the new powers in Iraq and Afghanistan. We've created many more heads on the Islamic militant hydra. Each time we cut one head off, two or three grow in its place.

Maybe it's time we showed a mirror to the hydra. Let it see what it looks like. Maybe it will turn into stone.

Not to Mr. Bush I guess, but all the other Bin Ladens are his family's friends.

I'm still concerned with him, though. He supported the attackers who orchestrated the disaster that destroyed many buildings and killed thousands of innocent people in 2001.

Why, is he acting up again? I thought the time-out in Afghanistan had calmed him down. Have him take his Ritallin and talk to a counselor tomorrow.

If he wasn't a concern, he wouldn't be hiding in the mountains somewhere and we wouldn't be spending millions of dollars hunting him down.
