Why are the Israelis so stupid they don't know they will never be forgiven for slaughtering 1,000+ Lebanese?

I'd like to thank the first 19 people who answered for displaying their blind prejudice and ignorance. Will other people just give an answer to the question and not try to defend the murderers?

Why you blame the Israel only? If the Lebanese wasn't an impotent government, those slaughterings was possible to avoid. Even though there is too much pressure against Israel, the Lebanese diplomats and other top officials are just a waste. After all, Hezbollah is the reason for all the violence's that happening today in Lebanon. Instead of teaching how to protest successfully without killing our enemies, they are teaching the youngsters to lift guns and grenades and throwing those precious lives to the grave yard.

Why is it that it's Okay for Hezbollah to launch rockets into Israel for almost 6 yrs without regard to the casualties caused to Israel and you say Israel will never be forgiven for Lebanese casualties. You should look to Hezbollah and ask why they hide behind civilians and launch their attacks from civilian population centers. They want civilian casualties just to make people like you respond the way you are doing right now. It seems to alot of people that the only thing Hezbollah finds more important than dead Israelis is dead Lebonese children so that Hezbollah can parade them around and 'say see look what those Israelis did'. It is all about getting more Arab support and making Israel look bad for responding to the attacks by Hezbollah. What would you do if your neighbor country was launching rockets into your neighborhood for yrs and then openly attacked and kidnapped your soldiers in your country? You would do the same as Israel or worse. Can you be forgiven for supporting racist murders that teach their children to hate and then who send those same children to be suicide bombers into civilian centers to kill innocent children and women just because they are Jews or non-muslims? I think not you will be held responsible either here or in the afterlife. It is just as evil to stand by and secretly support the terror as it is to perpetrate it.

Hahaha.. I love your question. I don't think the Israelites are stupid, probably it has been so much in them that they are still believing that they are God's chosen people and the whole world belongs to them. Now, didn't they started fighting with their neighbours for thousands of years? :D

As for the current situation, what's the world doing about it? Yes, there are people all over the world screaming for the stop of the slaughter, however, those in power seems to be reluctant to step in to meddle. Why so? Could it be possible that there are many Jews worldwide controlling majority of the economies and by going against Israel, the world economy would collapse? Another point to ponder. :P

There might be a question here such as why did Israel do such an extensive retaliation which resulted in so many civilian deaths. But, I agree with answers above, it's probably not really a question, just someone trying to make a point. Many people ask questions which are not questions, especially in "politics"

Lebanon and the Lebanese people support the actions of Israel. They want the brutal and ruthless Hezbollah out of their country.

Those that don't support Hezbollah evacuated before the attacks begin. Those that remained are Hezbollah or Hezbollah supporters and are not innocent. They deserve to die.

I not only forgive them I endorse it, as do MOST of the people I know.
1. Israel is defending itself since they were attacked first. (I don't care about ancient history, get over it. Most of the people alive when it happened are dead now anyway.)

2. Israel warns first before bombing with precision weapons. The Hezbos rain rockets down indiscriminately on families with no warning.

3. The Hezbos hide behind women and children to inflate causality numbers.
