the offical definition of stag and doe:
A stag and doe, or buck and doe, is an event held by a bride and groom before they are married, similar to a combined bachelor party and bachelorette party, but acting as a fundraiser for the wedding. Guests purchase entrance tickets and are entertained, typically, with games, food, and alcohol, all of which usually also cost money. Door prizes and raffles are also very common events at a stag and doe.

The fact that these parties are the absolute height of tacky aside; it's rude to ask people for money to help pay for your wedding or any other type of party you are hosting.

Anyway, look at the invitation. It should say time and location. That will give you a clue.
Outside afternoon: Comfortable for the weather, and casual.
Outside evening: Comfortable for weather, a little dressy, but not formal.
Inside afternoon: Casual
Inside evening: Dressy, not formal.

Casual usually doesn't mean jeans. You still want to look nice out of respect and good taste.
For parties held at specific locations, like a banquet hall, informal for the afternoon, cocktail for evenings. Informal usually means a cute dress or skirt for her, slacks and shirt for him. Cocktail usually means something like the "little black dress" for her and slacks and dress shirt for him. Tie and jacket optional.

If you are still unsure, call and ask.

Antlers? Okay... I admit it... I have no idea what a "stag & doe" is either. Unless it's a slang term for a co-ed "mixer".

do not particularly shop on with tendencies, i love having my own form. very last Eid me and my Yemeni mate (i'm Pakistani) gave one yet another our classic clothing for Eid present. I gave her an Asian shalwar kameez fit and he or she gave me one among those Arab jalabiya thingies (nevertheless no longer particular what you call them), to positioned on on Eid.
