In my first pregnancy i felt the baby move around 18 weeks and to start with it just feels like butterflies and bubbles in your stomach, obviousley the further on you get the stronger the movements. You will probably feel the first "proper" kick between 20 and 24 weeks. In second pregnancys you would feel this sensation earlier due to your stomach muscles being more relaxed and your body being there before. But just remember everyone is differrent.

It's different for every pregnancy but I felt flutters at 16 weeks and definite movement from 20 weeks. From the outside, my husband couldn't feel baby kicking until around 22-24 weeks.

You can feel what some calls "fluttering" at any time. but everyone starts feeling the baby move at different times. women who have been pregnant before tend to feel their baby move earlier at like 3 1/2-4 months because they already know how it feels and what to look for. but for us first time moms usually we don't notice it till 4 or 5 months.

Months 4 through 6 of the pregnancy are called the second trimester. Most women feel more energised in this period, and begin to put on weight. The first movement of the fetus, often referred to as "quickening", can be felt, as it begins to form into a recognizable shape. This typically happens by the fourth month. The reproductive organs can be recognized, and can distingush the fetus as male or female.

16-20 weeks is the official line. However, if this is your first pregnancy you are unlikely to feel the baby until about 20 weeks. If you do not feel regular fetal movements by 23 weeks you should see your Midwife.

I felt my daughter move the first flutter around 15 weeks (this is a first pregnancy) & stronger movements around 20 weeks. Most commonly I think 18 weeks. You should definately feel movement by 24 weeks. If not check w/your doctor.

between 16-22 weeks, its earlier sometimes if you have had more than one child. That baby actually moves from 6 weeks, its just that it is so small that you cant feel it at first.

Everyone's experiences are different. With my child it was around 5 months. Some of the "fluttering" you may be feeling could also be gas.
