Let me tell you something really important.. The popular players became popular because of the leagues they're in. David Beckham plays in Real Madrid that holds the best team players. The players of Real Madrid are perfect when they play together because throughout all years they train together all the time and the training for the national teams only happens three months prior to the game. So he is a good player with the team he's used to playing with most of the time. In the national team he plays, obviously, 30% of his abilities as a great player.

will i dont think david beckham is such a bad player as you say however any player who turns 30 becomes i think weaker because 30-31-32 are the last ages for playing football like figo raul and cannavaro

1st of all he still delivers good crosses.
and since he has been hyped by the media he actually thinks more of himself than he really is.
that's why he dosent tend to concentrate on improving his game that much.
