If it still works and it's not in bad shape try to help out someone else by selling it to them for a good price and buy a new one.. A good place to get one is www.newegg.com.. I got a really good one off that site and it was really cheap.

No, because it is not feasible for a computer place to take in something in trade ,that is on it's last leg, repair it, and try and sell it. Used computers, like any other used machinery can have other components go bad in a short time, even though you repaired the original problem.

You would have a better chance of trading in your old worn-out girlfriend for a new one than you would have of getting someone to take your old laptop for a new laptop. You should donate it to a charity for a tax writeoff and buy a new one while they are on sale.

I have never traded in a computer. You can try some second hand computer stores or Ebay. You might consider buying a Mac, they have less repair problems and very high customer satisfaction ratings.

no. the best u can do to get any type of monetary value is to donate it to an organization that accepts old technology for 3rd world uses. there are some scrap companies that buy old pcs 4 parts. technology obsoletes so quickly the value decreases accordingly.

It is called 'end of life' or 'normal usage', or 'wear and tear', and it is your responsibility to treat it nice, so it will work.

Go buy a new one!

You didn't mention how it 'broke'! Is it full of virus from the Microsoft virus-magnet???
