Very good question. All children are born Muslims unless their parents make them wrong. Islam is the rewiligion from Adam to Muhammad (PBUT) and till the last man and woman on earth. The term Judaism and Jew were not present in the time of Abraham, Mosees, etc. and term Christianity was not there at the time of Jesus (Peace be upon him). Every messaenger of God said that he is Muslim. Since Muhammad is the last and the final messanger his book was required to be presereved in its original language forever and it and the language is fresh frozen so the language of Quran is as fresh today as was 1430 years back.

"Are we not capable of finding the real god/religion?"

Actually, the answer to this part of your question is "No" because mankind cannot find God through their own efforts. It's like an Ant trying to find a man through it's own efforts. If the man doesn't reveal himself to the Ant then the Ant has no hope of success.

That's what distinguishes the Christian religion from all other religions. The Christian religion teaches that on our own we are hopelessly lost but that God has made a way for us to know Him in truth and spirit through faith in Christ and the indwelling of God's Holy Spirit that gives us new life in and through God.

Other religions teach that people who follow the rules of the religion can become progressively better people and somehow find God this way. To go back to the Ant analogy, that's like saying that if an Ant did a lot of exercises it could somehow become powerful enough to overcome the obstacles that prevent other Ants from finding a particular man.

No matter how much stronger than the other Ants the one doing the exercises becomes, it's efforts cannot succeed. It's the same way with our sin separation from the Holy God of Heaven. All of our manipulations here on earth have no chance of discovering an infinite being who is unwilling to be discovered unless we come to Him having been cleansed of our sins by the blood of his Son.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him."

I don't agree since I chose my own religion. I did not feel compelled to follow Christianity just because my ancestors 1200+ years ago could choose between becoming christian or getting killed. After looking at lots of religions and philosophies I'm trying to implement Buddhist elements in my life, but I use a lot of the symbolism of Asatru, the religion of my ancestors.

Those who do not believe in any thing that is related to God in any way have their own ideologies. King David said, I went up to the heavens you was there,I went on the earth you was there, I went beneath the earth you was there. People need to simply start searching the Scriptures on their own. There are to many translations of the Bible to say I don't understand it. These are the yokes of religion that Jesus was talking about. He told the Pharisees and the Sadducees that they put a yoke on the people that they themselves could not bear. We need to break tradition and read the Bible for ourselves. Yes we are very capable of finding God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit on our own.

we are completely capable, most people are too afraid to question. Being told that any faith other than what your taught from birth is evil and they're going to hell can really make a persons curiosity on such things disappear. Only the brave can get past it and learn to question, others just follow along with everyone else till their death never learning or gaining any true wisdom from this life.

If we come to question the religion of our parents and live in society where in is permitted to explore other faiths, then we may chose another, otherwise we will accept the faith of our parents.

the very belief that there is god is my god...becoz it diverts me from the dark avenues of life......my inner voice is my god..i feel if its the same with everyone, the true god vud be discovered......and i feel this can be an incentive for each of us to discover the real god or religion.......
