I don't think so. The media sure tends to hype things up a bit, huh? Just to set the record straight Mel Gibson has thoroughly apologized for his drunken behavior and if you look at his bio you'll see that he is a gazillion miles away from being anti Jewish. The man is human and has flaws just like every other human. Too bad his career and wonderful acting/directing talents [placing him in the spotlight] has made the public believe he is an icon of super human behavior. Would this be such a big deal if Joe Shmoe had this same thing happen to him? Noooo-oo it wouldn't. Maybe we should concentrate on Mel Gibson's plus side instead of his weaknesses. :)
