i love to compete with my neighbours if they turn there music on i put mine on louder, if they turn theres up i make mine even louder.
I hate to be beat at anything and always have to go one better.
The house next door is owned by the council and people are always moving in and out and I will make sure they always know we are better.
I have even just bought a really powerfull technics hi-fi to make sure mine is the loudest and bassiest.
Does anyone else out there do the same as me??

My neighbor sometimes plays his music loud, but we like the same stuff, so I'm okay with it. If I feel the urge for loud music (and I do often), I just throw my headphones on, or go out for a ride and play it on the car stereo (on the highway where I won't bother anyone). I'm just the considerate type I guess.

You have a puffed up ego.
What are you going to do when the power goes our permanently?

YUP! I compete with a little old lady! She plays stuff like Frank Sinatra but keeps the bass as high as possible.. I always win.

no i kinda have respect for my neighbours.....but if i had a$$hole neighbours that did that to me than I'd go buy myself some hard rock heavy metal music and turn it on full and put ear plugs in my ears so i can't hear it or just go out

ha ha!! i luuurve listening to loud music!! i find mainly in the car...it is the best way to appreciate it!! ;) the most favourite thing i do is put guns 'n' roses on reeeealy loud in the car!!! that's wkd!!
but my mum doesn't like me having to loud a music!! lol!!
yes i do tend to like to compete with people and try to make thew loudest noise!! especially on a drum kit!! :-P

I have to have my music on loud when i want to express myself but my neighbours are great they don't mind as they have their's on at times as well.
