I have Spy Sweeper on one of my laptops and Ad-Aware on my other. Spy Sweeper runs by itself, but it is not free like Ad-Aware. Also, I had trouble with the latest Spy Sweeper update as it would not let me into the Internet....definitely go with at least Ad-Aware.
