Yes it definitely can. I left a bottle of Aqua Velva exposed to sunlight for about a week and when I used it it smelled like a bottle of Chivas Regal which wasn't so bad until I was picked up for speeding and had to go through a breathalyzer test to prove I hadn't imbibed.

If you mean explode the answer is no. If you mean evaporate the
answer is yes. But I would like to add some advice, your skin will
suffer in the sun with aftershave, because it dehydrates the skin.
If you wish to take the lotion to the beach for later use, close it
tight and keep it in a beach bag.

Definitely as the all products like perfumes and after shave lotions base contents are made up of essential oils, and they go rancid/OFF in the sunlight. It is best to keep any after shave lotions/ perfumes in a cupboard

Yes, it affects the perfume. All scent, guys' & girls' should be kept in a dark place. Keeps much longer.
