The person who said that was most likely ignorant and trying to make muslims mad.
Don't get too upset, you are right, but obviously this person has no morals or values and probably has no religion so he does not care if he insults others religion.
Unfortuantely, there is more of a bad image of muslims with all of the crazy terrorist and suicide bombers. You know this is not right too.
If I were you I would find a Qu'ran with English translation and offer it to the person that at least had th eintelligence to want to read it and discover for himself before allowing others opinions to decide for him.
The best thing you can do for your religion and people is educate them so that they are not ignorant of your background.
And be a good muslim so that people can see that such a thing really does exist. Not all muslims are bad.

I'd have to question the convictions of any one that claimed to be of Jewish or Christian faith and made comments like that.
Unfortunately I think it's probably more of an arrogant American thing, rather then a matter of religious beliefs. Americans as a whole are unreasonable, rude, inconsiderate, ignorant, and uncompromising. Generally the person they are Sunday morning (assuming they're at church any way) is nothing like the person you'll meet the rest of the week. Unless you do something that affects them, and then they feel they're therefore entitled to preach to you about what good a Christian they are. Usually continually hitting on how they would have never done what you did to them.

I am a Christian and I think they were wrong to say so.
The thing is that often behaviour breeds behaviour and hatred breeds hatred.
I feel sad that the muslim world seems to be so intent on invoking religious violence. I can somehow understand politically motivated violence, but I cannot unerstand it when it is religiously motivated.
This is why I believe Tolerance to be so important. There was a time hundreds of years ago where Christians were equally intollerant and killed for their religion. But even then, it was as wrong as it is today.
I believe that above being Christian, I am first and foremost Human, and it feels wrong to Kill, no matter what religion seems to dictate from time to time.

Dude, I have checked out the quran and it plainly states that muslims are to kill all non-muslims. the quran is a joke and a religion of satan.
I found little peace in the quran.
Jesus is the answer. He is the savior of the world. Through Him we are saved from destruction. Read the Bible starting with the Gospel of John.

No...its very wrong and hurtful. there are alot of people out there who think themselves as righteous and whatever they believe is the truth which is not always the case because they think too highly of themselves which got them blinded. Worst thing is that they do not keep it to themselves but instead provoke others who think differently to them.
Sad people.

Of course, it is NEVER, EVER correct to desacrate something Holy to another person. It is an outrage. Anyone calling himself a Christian who does such a thing is no Christian. Please know, anyone can call himself anything he wishes; but the true test of a person's faith are his ACTIONS. I do not care what you say you believe; we all are judged by what we do.
Hope this helps.

Many of these people on this site are seriously dense. I don't understand their thought process. If you claim to be a christian, jew, or muslim. Than you cannot preach hate and claim it to be OK with god. And any promotion of hate go against the word of god.

Some people use Christianity as an excuse to justify their hatred and ignorance. Don't listen to them.
