It's totally rigged. If you watch, the competitions are designed so that the person they want to win has the best chance. They play to that person's strengths.
I hate Janelle and am sickened that they did this competition again and she won.

Sad.
There is no conspiracy here. They reran the game because the buzzers were malfunctioning. Most of the people eliminated were eliminated on time. The fact is that when everything was fair Janelle won. It has nothing to do with cingular or the ratings which are still strong. the fact is she is the best competitor the show has ever had, a student of the show.
And yes you will probably be upset when she figures out the clues and guesses "Have you heard the buzz around the house?" thus winning the Coup d'etat and probably next weeks head of household as well.
Remember she has to be nice about her nominations this week because she can't win the veto competition. There's a thought for you, who can play in her place? Or, will they only have five people in that game?
Oh yea, the answer above is only a best guess but it is probably right. It is a shameless plug for the internet feed to the house which costs 39.99 and lasts for the rest of the season.

Lord Z is absolutely right. The main "rigging" that the producers have done is to tailor HOH and veto competitions to certain favored houseguest's strengths. If they had done more, some of the previous weeks would not have been so boring! LOL!
I think that the HOH redo gave the people who subscribed to the live feed their money's worth. I don't subscribe, but follow the great coverage of the live feeds at this site
http://jam.canoe.ca/Television/TV_Shows/B/BigBrother7/
>SPOILER<
Based on whats been shown on the live feeds (according to the site) Howie and others complained forcefully about the "rigging" --Howie's buzzer did not go off when he pressed it, so he was the first to realize something was not right. He told the producers if they were gonna rig the games they may as well throw him off the show right now. Apparantly, a lot of the players have been threatening to leave, so it could be that the producers are trying to make sure that they at least keep the players who make for good TV.
Also keep in mind that the contract for this current production team is UP....so they may really feel like doing everything possible to either renew their contract or go out with a bang!

They had no choice but to redo it. On the question that Janie got wrong, Boogie's light didn't even light up and he was credited with a correct answer. The whole thing was just one big fiasco so CBS did the right thing in redoing the HOH competition. And of course, CBS wants to keep the more popular players on board to keep the ratings up. Kaysar has been the more popular player to date so it will be interesting to see who comes out on top next week. I'm betting it'll be Janie. :)
As for consequences, don't forget the coup d'etat. There's a good possiblility that someone could win that and overthrow Janie and her nominations next week so that's something to watch out for. If she's overturned, then she'll be gone next week for sure.

I don't believe its rigged, but it sure looks it, doesn't it? I agree with one of your other answers, Erica should have been exempt from eviction because of the screw up. But, now Janelle is just going to turn that hate crank in just a little further with the house guests and they will all make sure she goes out next time. I did notice that last year Janelle was winning everything. Similar to this year. Think maybe she kissing the producers butt? ( if you get my drift). I really dislike that girl! She needs to go away!

Most reality shows are rigged to some degree. Especially the trashy ones like Big Brother. For them, it's all about conflict. The producers want to keep the nastiest bitchiest people on the show because they draw in the ratings.

I'm glad to hear that they had to redo the HOH challenge. If you watched Thursday nights episode, you would have seen that Howie did hit the button and that it didn't work I think it is only fair that they should have done it over. To make it fair to Ericka though, they should give her exemption from eviction this week.

Oh well. I'm happy they redid it, I like Janelle and all the floaters are just another nerd herd, like James said himself. I hope she puts up Danielle and James, but I don't think she'll put up James so it will probably be Marcelles.
