When you sign on 1st time to messenger use your name then what do you wish to be called I used Still for 1st name Happy for last name you do not have to show sir names past the 1st time you sign on

There is a place there where you see how your name appears. You must go to both e mail options and to messenger settings.Make sure only your first name shows there.

Never put your last name into any registration box or info box!
That way, it will never appear in the broadcast info from your PC.
You mean that you didn't know that your PC running Microsoft programs (Lookout Express, Internet Exploder) sends all your private data to all servers, all computers, that it communicates to?
Check out what the system says about you, in the control panel!

Edit your mail account profile. The name(s) displayed in messenger are drawn from your mail account !

Just like they said, do not enter your last name in the information boxes.
