as being originally sighted in New York State lurking somewhere around Westchester County ...

There isn't one, nor has there ever been one. The "mysterious" tracks that led everyone to imagine the thing in the first place were partially snow-ed in rabbit tracks. The tales of them going over walls and on roofs were exaggerations.

I grew up on the outskirts of the pine barrens in new jersey and traveled and hiked within them as a child. i never saw anything and believe me i looked!!! still believe though:)

i used to live there. and had a friend that saw it, and she said it was cool looking.
