My great uncle has a good library and I do remember he and his friends watching number of westerners on CD player. I myself too have watched at least some of them.
So your point sounds weird....as I don't think "Pals in The Saddle" was a homosexual cowboy movie.....It was a kind of "Three Musketeers" and our dear old John was the leader helping a woman (or an officer....its hard to remember) to reinstate her territory or something like that. How come you detect any homosexuality in the movie...I wonder really.

"Pals of the Saddle" 1938.

He plays Stoney Brooks ?.

Movie plot summary:

Returning a lost item to Ann, Stony arrives just as two men shoot each other. Ann is a Government Agent and she gets Stony to replace her now dead partner. Some important chemical is being smuggled out of the country and she sends Stony to the storage facility posing as the foreign Agent. He fools the guards but the boss arrives to expose the hoax and Stony is made a prisoner. After this things start lookin' up.

Look you're in the wrong room for this.

The one with rubber walls, if you know.

For violence-prone misfits.

Keep clear...

If you value your hide, that is.
