I'll say married. Then you have someone for the rest of your life that you can depend on, love, etc.
Because when you are single and dating remember it is not only you that can break it off but the other person can as well, and what if you are really into them?
I know the same can happen in a marriage, however, hopefully if one marries another it is someone with who he/she at least shares the same views with.
For example, I don't think there is any excuse for divorce unless 1. The person is abusive or 2. They cheated on you (and you know you can't forgive them).
Other then that any other reason I can think of is BS and weakness, I hate when people say that they simply fell out of love, lost interest in each other. That doesn't happen overnight, you just let whatever problems go on for too long. That and maybe reason 3. They committed a heinous crime.
Married definately. There are many great things that come with marriage that you can't just get out of dating, it is a much deeper bond.

You will get a lot of debate on this question, for sure. I can imagine advantages and disadvantages to both. Being married to an adult of the opposite sex is the more normal, and preferred (by most people) relationship.

How do you define better? Marriage has been found to be the best way to live, and raise children, based on a few thousand years of human experience and experimentation. Perfect?, not at all. Just better than any other method of living that people have tried.

Many people who are married are unhappy and wish they were single. While many who are single and lonely wish they were married and feel they are missing out. I believe it is neccessary to like who you are, because life is not fair, many never find love and many who do throw it away for cheap thrills and excitement. Enjoy whatever life has given you.

I was happy being single because I was happy with myself.
I'm happy being married to my husband. I enjoy sharing my life and experiences with my husband, but I only think it's great being married because I'm married to him. When I was married before to someone else it wasn't always so great.
I guess it all depends on how happy you are with yourself and who you are dragging along with when you are married.
