I live in a small town that does not have much in the way of night life!
All we have is pubs and recently we have a cinema which is in the local school hall and not open every night.
We can go out of town 20 miles and hit a city that has a lot of clubs, cinemas, restaurants etc.

In the city, mostly just drugs.. probably hookers.. the occasional stabbing and/or shooting.. all in all it's a nice city of hardworking people, but it has its share of crime... I live north of the city (on a hill overlooking it) and since the highway I take to get anywhere is north of me, I don't have to go through the city unless I want to... which is only during the day...

Virtually non existent, one good underground club but I am always one of the oldest there, lots and lots of terrible studenty danceplaces, some good sites for illegal parties and more bars than you can swing a stick at or however you say that.

I woudn't recommend being involved in it in any city, and rarely does anything good happen after 9:00 unless you're working a swing shift. Early to bed, early to rise, makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise, generally speaking.
