clearly a god, when stuck in the middle of nowhere and nothing but your lighter and some shoe laces in hand who else could make you a speed boat???
seriously tho for someone who came from the great south west of england who could have imagined he could be one of the most internationally renound bush tucker men around????

Anyone who can say "Being stuck in the Malaysian jungle may at first be daunting, but I can show you how you can turn this piece of bamboo, the flashbulb from an electric torch and a page from The Guardian into a 3 star hotel with a swimming pool and monkeys for waiters" couldn't POSSIBLY be a geek!

I like the guy very much BUT I shudder to think of some idiot setting fire to a forest somewhere just because they tried to emulate him, but didn't get it quite right.

Ray is a top bloke. I admire his skills and we all need to get back to nature at times. He is one man I would have at my back in a crisis. He is intelligent and I wish I knew what he knows............
