i think the question should be "whether sachin should play in tests".
undoubtely sachin is a best ODI player. highest run scorer. more than 100 ODI wickets. maximum man of the match awards . so no question abt his ability in ODI.
but there r some doubts over his ability in test cricket. bcoz many times v hav seen that sachin has flattered under pressure situations in test matches. he hasn't been able 2 take d matches 2wards draw on many occasions. so in think a bit of thinking is needed over his test playing capability.
moreover i think sachin should play only ODI till world cup. this will save him from more exurtion and he less wear n tear of his body.

Ya, certainly he is one of the key players of the Indian team on whom you can rely on. I think he has to play the Odi

Yes, he should. He has led India to a lot of victories. And we should not reject him. He has a lot of records in ODI:
Hightest runs
Most no: Man-of-the-Match
Most no: of centuries and more.
The team should give him a chance. I am sure he will do it. He even can help the team with his bowling.
