i know we all want to feel appreciated, but you'll go crazy if you expect a pat on the back everytime you do something nice for someone. maybe you went through a lot of trouble to help and could use a bit of recognition, but sometimes people forget. others simply feel uncomfortable showing their appreciation because they're not used to getting help (or giving it, for that matter). but you know they're grateful. they just don't know how to express it.

(btw, by "credit for," i assume you will be content with a simple "thank you" or a note or a gesture. because if you're after material reward... well, most people assume help is free, so you shouldn't have lifted a finger if this is what you wanted.)

just be more understanding. i'm sure there has been a time you should have given someone credit but didn't.

how can you not feel good about it? You shouldn't be doing this good deed for the credit or recognition, but simply because it's the right thing to do. If someone needs help and you have the ability to do it, the reward should be the satisfaction you get knowing that you helped a fellow man, not in the recognition. A simple thank you should be enough for you. If it's not, then perhaps you should examine the reasons you're helping in the first place.

It can be quite disappointing if you don't get the credit for doing something nice, but there should be some satisfaction in your heart for doing it to make someone happy. If this person is happy, shouldn't you feel happy as well? If that person shows no emotion toward your good deed, then it is his/her loss. If you don't feel good about not getting the credit, maybe you only did the deed for yourself, for your own happiness through acknowledged credit, and not mainly for doing the good deed for the benefit of that someone.

If you do something good to someone don't do it for the sake of credit. When you take credit, you made it a business. It is not a help.

The logic is simple. Help is a help when you don't take any advantage from it and the one who received the help is benefited. Else, it is a business. The return can be credit, fame or expectation of something in future.

Never expect any reward from the others for the good deed u've done to them. It will give u immense pleasure and a credit will be written in the books of accounts maintained by the angels of GOD.

you would possibly want to not imagine of this as replacing your self, you would possibly want to imagine of this as an probability to make stronger your self. all of us has to do a touch chores around the residing house in some unspecified time sooner or later, so hit upon an afternoon or 2 to take time without work out of your friends and spend it with your relations. help your mom out with some dishes and sweep or mop the first floor. Ask your mom if she needs help with some thing. Your mom likely works lots, (your dad, too!) so she benefits the help after a lengthy day's artwork. you likely heard this a million cases yet i comprehend that is authentic in this project: She needs the right for you. If she thinks you ought to opt to be around the relations extra and help around the residing house, you would possibly want to likely do it. :-)

Help someone & forget that U helped, don't expect credit or anything in exchange of help. When U feel happy & satisfied by helping someone anyway, that's your credit & rewards.
