I'm not going to attempt to answer this question as it would be extremely long. But below are three links that may help you that are not related to wikipedia (which is not a professional publication contrary to popular opinion).

Links:
1. The Medieval Sourcebook was started in 1996 and is ran by Fordham University (The Center for Medieval Studies).
2. Fordham University's Center for Medieval Studies website
3. These are lectures at Univ of Kansas at a Basic Medieval History Course and published on this website by that professor.

This won't be strictly historical, but a decent resource would be the Society for Creative Anachronisms (http://www.sca.org/). Most of the participants aren't scholars, but some are and can be useful resources in terms of what you are looking for.

Of course, the way you ask the question seems to indicate something at least similar, so this might be redundant. However, it's what I can come up with off of the top of my head.

THOMAS B COSTAIN is all you ever need. He wrote dozens of fiction and non fiction books on Englands Kings & Queens during the Middle Ages. Curl up with any three of his books and you will know more than you can imagine. And He is readable - - - lively fun.
