The secret of the jump is to get height. The higher you jump the more time you will have to move your legs. Start out practicing leaping. Then jumping straight up in the air and doing a half a scissor kick. Then eventually work up to switching your legs.

Turns comes from momentum and center. A lot of people can't do multiple turns because they're just afraid to let go. Make sure you start off from a good foundation, bend your knees. When you turn you want to bring the opposite side around (meaning the side you're not turning towards). Also keep your weight forward. Many people turn and instantly pull their shoulders back. You want to remember to stay straight and forward.

Good Luck!

In the scissor kick, try putting a chase(Front gallop) before it, so you get more hight. Do a series of scissors, starting low, step, chase, slightly higher, step chase, higher, until they are fairly high. Also make sure that your most flexible leg goes second. For the turns, make sure that you lean forward slughtly, to stop you from falling backwards, spot(Flicking your head to the front in a turn) twice in doubles
