Didn't used to stand up for myself, afraid I guess that people wouldn't like me. As the years went by? I say it very easily now!! I am still a nice person, but there are users and losers out there and I'll be damned if I am gonna allow someone to take advantage of me at my age now!

I have a hard time saying 'No' to other people. I feel like I should have a genuine reason other than 'I just don't want to' cuz that just makes me seem inconsiderate and uncaring. But, if it's something immoral or wrong, I don't have a problem standing up and slappin' them around with some bolony and saying "NO! BAD! NO!" :)

Well saying NO is a bit harsh... rather than say "NO" you can give an elaborate answer and make alternative provisions to the person in a matter in which yourself and the person will feel neutral and happy without any hurt to anyone.

Well.....as far as money-matters are concerned, I easily say "NO" because experiences have taught me money is the major way to kill the friendship.
However, there are seldom incidents so far with me where I said NO to people with me.

"No", no, no ,no....... very easy to utter these two alphabet word, but probably the fear of losing our social image forces us to say yes. the people today are guided by selfish interests and its very often that were'r unable to say no becoz of the above. though sincerely we wish to say no. no and no.

It depends, If it is my friends then It wouldn't be easy to say no. However if it is someone I don't know then it would be easy.
