Yes of course i am blessed from the moment that i came into this World. I had been blessed to have lovely parents and siblings. Now i feel i am blessed with a beautiful family and a caring wife. I am blessed with a force that gives me the clarity of vision and see things from a different angle every day, every moment. I am blessed with a large circle of friends who are not only co-operative but also guide me. So you see i am blessed, blessed and blessed all the way till the time i happen to be in the World !

Let's do a check list:
Do any of my limbs not work?
(There are those who have no limbs, and yet feel blessed!)
Have I ever been in pain I could not endure? (There are those in daily and constant pain, and squeeze some measure of happiness from the joys and pleasures that are available even to those in intractible pain.)
Have I ever missed enough meals to become malnourished? (There are those bodies are less-nourished than mine, whose souls are well-fed beyond my dreams.)
Am I alive and consciously thinking these thoughts?
(Many of those I once envied, including the boys on the basketball team that I didn't qualify for, not to mention Johnny Carson and Elvis Presley, are now dead!
Others, owing to various degenerative mental condition, have forgotten everything.
Nietszche, the brilliant philosopher, lost his mental functionings while still a relatively young man, but he could still function as a janitor and do simple tasks in the "institution for the feeble-minded" to which he was confined.
Entering the library one day and reaching up to dust books that he no longer had the intelligence to read, he gave a childlike smile and said, " I wrote some books one time!"
Am I not blessed to still be able to think and to write? Are you not blessed to feel compassion for those who have lost their capacities-- instead being the recipient of pity for having lost yours?
And am I not blessed to possess a reasonably normal, if unprepossessing, appearance?
(The Elephant Man, and many others outwardly "deformed" have developed well-formed souls, and Helen Keller, having lost both the sense of sight and the sense of hearing, developed a mind with uncommon sensibilities.)
Anybody here more blessed than Oprah Winfrey? Undoubtedly very few. Yet her experience proved that even mistakes are sometimes blessings, and "losers" are blessed.
Oprah got her start by coming out in LAST PLACE in a beauty . (The people who judged her LAST were wrong, and the confused announcer who made the "mistake" of reversing the winning order in his announcement was, well, far from wrong!)
Being Oprah, she parleyed a college scholarship into fabulous wealth and world fame, besides being obviously one of the most beautiful talented and successful women in the world.
Blessed are those who can row a boat. Dr. Stephen Hawking was one of the best oarsmen ever serving on the Oxford University rowing team.
But his brilliant mind was unfocused, used to effortlessly make perfect marks and to sharpshoot professorial and textbook errors.
(No longer able to row a boat, he has now advanced the field of physics a quantum leap beyond the Newton and Einstein. Stricken with the curse of a degenerative muscular illness, he has blessed the world with his insights into physics.)
Who is blessed? I am blessed. You are blessed. It is all in how w use the blessings we have been given.

Yes, everyday when I awaken I ponder just how blessed I am. I have my health, I love freely, I see the beauty that there is in the world. I have music in my soul and write about it everyday. I share myself with others and am receptive to the unique qualities that I can experience through others. I enjoy the sensual pleasures and have no regrets (i.e. the gift of sight, sound, touch, taste, and everything that goes with that). We are all blessed every day and have the opportunity to share ourselves with each other in a positive and uplifting way through creativity and love of life.

Everyday I live to see another day; I know that I am truly blessed. When I was at my place of worship Thursday evening, a young sister in Christ was giving a demonstration and she collapsed on stage. I was horrified; I watched this young lady gasp for air and it was later discovered that she had suffered a heart attack.....I couldn't believe it as she was only 14 years old. She later died at the hospital, and this makes me even more grateful to see each and every day that I do and be able to get back in my bed at night. I am not willing to take anything for granted.....

Things could be better, but I guess I'm blessed, because if you picked a random person in the world, there's probably a 65% chance that I wouldn't want to trade lives with them.
