You have no reason to feel guilty hun. I have sent text messages to the wrong people and they have been far worse than what you said.
Resend to your b/f and then text your ex saying sorry I was supposed to send that to someone else. if he doesn't believe you then tough you know the truth. Dont worry about something you are unable to change its happened and thats it there is nothing you can do.
If it makes you feel better then tell your b/f you sent it to the wrong perspn

First, tell the ex it was in error; be forthright & calm & be done with that part of it. Think of it as a wrong number to a stranger.
Then look for the silver lining; accept you have residual ambivalence & this is your tip off to see a therapist to put the ex behind you once & for all.
Sometimes things happen that unmask something else, be glad it happened now & use the opportunity to deal with it.
Things always seem worse at night. Get some sleep and Monday start calling to locate a therapist.
Don't tell the current beau until you are stronger emotionally.
Good luck & don't self-flagellate. You have your priorities straight, some loose ends to clear up.

Maybe the guilt feeling is a by-product of the panic. I know if I accidentally texted an ex, I would freak out, mostly I think cuz I wouldn't want him privy to intimate little conversations I have with my loving boyfriend.
Hopefully that's all your feeling, and once you send a followng text saying, 'sorry! oops!' or whatever, you'll feel much better.
It might not be such a bad thing also that he knows how wonderfully you're being treated and how good your life is now... Just a thought.
Good luck love.

I think you just feel guilty about the text message. Maybe a little embarrassed even. Fess up and tell them both(the ex and the current man) that you made a mistake and sorry. I think you will feel much better then.

It was just a mistake! a Typo thats all. You sent it to the wrong number thats all. Im male i see things in black and white. However you being female you see things in pink/blue with multi coloured pokerdots. Dont make this a bigger thing than it is. Worst case scenario is your ex will take the mickey out of you for sending soppy shite to your boyfriend.

It's not a problem. You just made a mistake and sent the message to the wrong guy. Just tell him that the message was meant to go somewhere else. Not a big deal!!

I can understand why you feel this way.
i would but remember the reason why you and your ex broke up in this first place, don't let him take you for a ride.
what i would do is tell your boyfriend what happend and tell me you told ur ex it was a mistake text message.
i am sure your boyfriend will understand, he might just get a little jealous.but i am sure your boyfriend trust you.
good luck x

There isn't a problem here if you act quickly. Just explain 2 ur ex wha happened. I'm sure he'll laugh if it off. If you think your current bf would find it funny, tell him to, show that you are being honest.
