been there done that,
i was with a girl for 3 years who hit me and stabbed me, se said her reason was cos i would never hit her back and she wanted me to so she could be the victim!
i dated a girl who left notes on my car and used to ask where i was all the time and used to check my car was in my space at nights
i had a girl who kept turning up at work and hassling me
now i am with a wonderful clever sweet girl who i love very much and is sane as the day is long

They don't, more often than not they get women who have been damaged by some idiot who doesn't know how to treat a woman so when they get a descent guy they sometimes don't know how to handle it. I don't really know. Unfortunately it's true, they do always get the psychos and gold diggers. That's why there's never any left for us.
