Just wondering cuz I have no idea why my husband's family doesn't like me. They've never told my husband or me, and they are always trying to find something bad about me to "make a mountain out of a mole-hill". I've only been really nice to them, friendly, accepting, loving, caring and compassionate. I've been fun and real. I just don't get it. They treat me so bad behind my back, and even more recently, to my face.
So, what could be the deal?

Let me tell you!!! I have been married for almost 27 yrs. and I still go through the same crap you are!!! I went to work for someone my husband can't stand.(this happened 7 1/2 yrs ago worked there one summer) No one likes him, but it was a job, I had no car and could walk there. I needed an income. The guy is a cocky ******, but I knew that,no biggie...When my husband went to visit his mother one day, he told her he didn't like me working for this guy.(oh brother!) His mother, his goofy druggy-drinking nut sister, his racist father who has never been in his life, all three in different states, had nothing better to do than to talk on the phone, about me, to try to get rid of me! that following april, me not knowing any of it, I welcome the sister/boyfriend who came for a visit. the father also popped up w/his wife. opened MY home to these people. I had a little pond with 3 fish in it, and a fake turtle. we were waiting for my husband to come out of the house, his father is in the truck/window open/ I am standing there w/his wife looking at the fish. the father takes his LOADED 38 and teases he's gonna shoot my turtle. I say NO NO, when I look back the gun is pointed directly at my forhead!!! I pulled his wife in front of me saying "you won't shoot her', husband came out, gun put up and we all met at the park for a BBQ. WHEN the sister w/boyfriend came back with us to the house, the BOYFRIEND after I jokingly said what the father did, HE WENT BALISTIC! He let the cat out of the bag about the three of them and what they were doing, how on my mother in laws porch I was called a Dirty Jew, I am a ball and chain, that my husband could have had more had he not married me, etc...If it wasn't for JR, I would never have known any of it. I do not speak to my inlaws, and let me tell you all hell broke loose. I called the police on the father. He is not allowed to ever be near me. My mother in law I have seen once in 7 years!! the sister I beat the crap out of when I was 19 so she's afraid of me. GOOD cause at 45 I'd do it again! You put a stop to it!!! YOUR Husband has to be the one to nip it in the but, Just like mine did. It took a while for mine to SEE it, and when he did put his foot down, I got some peace. I don't HAVE to see any of them. they all tried to cover their a**'s, too late !!! His grandma Always treated me with Love, now that she is gone, I don't care if he visits, they are his family, BUT I don't have to, and I won't period!!

Speaking from experience, no one is ever good enough for my kids to marry, we always want what's best for them, though that doesn't help you, it's just my opinion.
