I would send the monkey up trees to gather bananas and coconuts for me. Plus, monkeys are cute and intelligent.

I guess a monkey, because an elephant would eat everything, and iguana would just be boring, and a lion would eat you eventually. But I would like a chicken, as a source of eggs. =)

an elephant is strong ,but would eat lots

Monkey is most practical or a dog, 'cos they can find food and water, but I would like a Degu.
