The last time I answered a question like this, someone stole all the wheels off my car, my wife found my girlfriends bra, my dog ate the neighbors cat, the police served me with a search warrant (but they didn't find anything so I guess that doesn't count), the TV started talking to me and I had to fart. God knows what's going to happen this time. I'm getting under the table.

There are two worst things that can happen, and here they are:

1. The worst thing that can happen - on this earth, in this life, is that you can lose your mind. You can always repair physical things, get medical help, and learn and grow and become successful no matter what your physical ailment or disorder. But, if you lose your mind, you've pretty much lost everything you can lose. Withhout your mind, you cannot think properly. Everything in your body is run and controlled by your mind. So without a good, sane mind, your body is useless, mostly. Without a sane mind, you can lose your faith, your family, your friends, your job, your home, your education, your background, your memories and your future. So there you go, that's the worst that can happen on this earth, in this life.

2. The worst that can happen in the next life is that you can go to hell and be there forever. There isn't anything worse than that in the next life.

Does that answer your question to your satisfaction?

The worst that can happen is that I could get carpal tunnel syndrome by pressing the keys as I answer this question. That's pretty bad I think.

It has shrunk me down to look like a little mushroom girl and flattened me out to look like a sheet covering the couch!
